Fashion East

Fashion East is a non-profit designer support and showcasing scheme, founded in 2000 by Lulu Kennedy MBE and The Truman Brewery. It is dedicated to nurturing emerging UK-based talent through an incubator program that offers financial bursaries, business consultation, and year-round mentoring from industry experts.

The initiative has helped launch the careers of numerous influential designers, with alumni including Kim Jones OBE, Craig Green, Simone Rocha, Roksanda, Martine Rose, Liam Hodges, Wales Bonner, JW Anderson, Ashley Williams, Marques’Almeida, Matty Bovan, and Charlotte Knowles, among many others.

Fashion East provides a vital platform for young designers to showcase their work at London Fashion Week, fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the fashion industry. With a rich history of supporting groundbreaking talent, it continues to be a key force in the evolution of British fashion.
