Henrik Vibskov

Henrik Vibskov, the acclaimed Danish fashion designer, artist, and musician, presented his AW24 collection, The Daily Chewing Gum Therapy Session, at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Known for his unique ability to blend fashion with art, Vibskov’s latest showcase delved into the theme of “therapy” and the ways individuals find solace in a fragile world.

The collection featured exaggerated silhouettes crafted through paper collages, reflecting themes of gaming and equine therapy. Pieces juxtaposed translucent light fabrics with heavy jacquards, and prints played with deconstructed light and shadow motifs. Vibskov‘s commitment to sustainability was evident, with over 82% of garments made from certified organic or recycled fabrics.

The runway installation mirrored the collection’s therapeutic essence, transforming the space into a surreal “therapy floor” with performers manipulating pink textile gum strands in a rhythmic display. This unique presentation underscored Vibskov’s innovative vision, blending fashion with theatrical performance​.
