Museum of Graffiti Marks Its 5th Anniversary with OG Slick: MIA Solo Exhibition
Celebrate five impactful years of the Museum of Graffiti with an exclusive solo exhibition, OG Slick: MIA, featuring acclaimed artist OG Slick, Richard P. Wyrgatsch II. This milestone event debuts during Art Basel Miami Beach and invites visitors to explore OG Slick’s provocative interpretations of pop culture and graffiti’s role in contemporary society. Renowned for blending street culture with commercial art, OG Slick’s work challenges the commodification of happiness through bold imagery, from Mickey Mouse’s hands to classic smiley faces, presented in painting, sculpture, and multimedia installations.
Event Highlights:
- Opening Day: Collectors’ Preview at 11 a.m. on December 4, followed by Public Opening at 12 p.m.
- Interactive Outdoor Experience: Live art demonstrations, food, drinks, and music curated by top artists and brands.
- Limited Edition Collectibles: Exclusive release at 2 p.m. on December 4, featuring prints and sculptures by OG Slick.
