AfriKin Art Fair 2024

The AfriKin Art Fair, Miami’s leading platform for African contemporary art, will be held at Maison AfriKin in the Scott Galvin Community Center from December 1–8, coinciding with Miami Art Week. This year’s fair, themed “Threads of Life in Fragments of Time,” is the 10th edition and offers a week of immersive experiences that explore the unity of human existence, the cosmos, and the transformative potential of art.

Notable events include AfriKin Talk on December 7, a forum for discussing human interconnectedness through art, and a fashion show on December 8 that blends traditional African craftsmanship with modern design.

The fair also supports community engagement, featuring a youth-curated exhibit by high school students, health screenings, and cultural dance performances. This educational, inclusive art experience invites all ages to connect with African art and culture.
