HUMMEL 00, the innovative fashion line from Danish sportswear brand HUMMEL, is set to make a striking impression at Tokyo Fashion Week. Established in 1923, HUMMEL launched HUMMEL 00 in the Spring/Summer 2025 season, seamlessly blending over a century of heritage with contemporary design to meet modern lifestyles. This collection artfully combines classic elements with cutting-edge technology, offering a fresh perspective on sports fashion.

The creative force behind HUMMEL 00 is Masanori Morikawa, a distinguished Japanese designer born in 1984. Morikawa founded CHRISTIAN DADA in 2010, earning accolades such as the DHL Designer Award in 2013 and the Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix Newcomer Award in 2015. In 2016, he became the youngest Japanese designer to present an official show at Paris Fashion Week. After pausing CHRISTIAN DADA in 2020, he introduced Basicks in 2021. Now, as the designer for HUMMEL 00, Morikawa infuses the brand with his avant-garde vision and expertise.

This event marks the brand’s debut at Tokyo Fashion Week, showcasing its second season under Morikawa’s direction. Attendees can anticipate a dynamic fusion of HUMMEL’s storied sportswear legacy with Morikawa’s innovative design approach, promising a collection that is both functional and fashion-forward.
