Designer, born in 1964 in Tokyo, is the daughter of esteemed fashion designer Jun Ashida. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Apparel Design, she debuted her collection in 1991 and has consistently showcased biannual collections since.

TAE ASHIDA’s clientele boasts members of the royal family, first ladies, celebrities, and actors, reflecting the brand’s dedication to elegance and practicality. Notably, in 2010, Ashida designed a spaceflight uniform for astronaut Naoko Yamazaki, marking the first instance of a fashion designer creating attire for an astronaut.
