Founded in 2013, the brand is led by Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode, who first started their design journey in 1998 with the brand “green”. After a break in 2009, they returned to the fashion scene with HYKE, debuting their Fall/Winter collection in 2013. The brand’s concept revolves around evolving fashion history through a distinct and personal sensibility.

The brand is known for its meticulous attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship, which seamlessly integrates traditional and modern design elements. The designers have been recognized for their contributions to fashion, winning the prestigious 35th Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix Award in 2017. The Tokyo Fashion Week showcase highlighted their innovative designs, emphasizing the brand’s ability to evolve while respecting its fashion heritage.
