Founded in 2004, YoshioKubo is known for pushing the boundaries of fashion with his pursuit of “patterns and details never seen before.” Drawing on his expertise from his couture years, he blends unique techniques into each collection. Rather than focusing on self-expression, his designs aim to inspire wearers to reconsider the elements of clothing, combining aesthetic beauty with practicality. Designer Yoshio Kubo graduated from the Fashion Design Department at Philadelphia University’s School of Textile & Science in 2000. He worked alongside Robert Danes, a renowned couture designer, in New York before returning to Japan in 2005 to launch his own collections under the YoshioKubo brand. Known for his commitment to craftsmanship and innovative designs, Kubo continues to present his works at Tokyo Fashion Week, showcasing his dedication to both fashion and function.
