Lueder – NG

For Spring Summer 25, LUEDER explores the medieval art of alchemy, specifically the Albedo stage, symbolizing purification and transformation. The collection contrasts primary pigments like azurite blue, vermilion red, and sulfur yellow with iron greys, black, and burnt wood to represent the spectrum of chemical transformation. Garments are hand-dyed using eco-friendly techniques, reducing water usage by 60%, and showcasing a vivid ombre effect.

Artist Thomas P. Grogan’s oxidized brass and steel amulets add texture to the designs, while Benjamin Grund’s camouflage-inspired prints appear on deadstock polyester mesh. Medieval armor influences the brand’s signature silhouette, with garments such as denim rangers uniforms and armour-like jackets. This season introduces soft tailoring alongside LUEDER’s signature twisted draping technique, blending sportswear and functional aesthetics with a focus on sartorial detail.

A key theme is the evolution of masculinity, blending vulnerability and strength. The jester-inspired protagonist embodies this, wearing two-tone sportswear and a collaborative face mask designed with Felix Riemann to evoke both power and protection. LUEDER’s first catwalk at London Fashion Week marks a pivotal moment under the British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN Initiative.
