RIV NOBUHIKO

RIV NOBUHIKO, established in 2021, introduces a fresh perspective on luxury fashion with its concept of “Wild Luxury: Practical Couture.” The brand reimagines traditional couture by integrating it seamlessly into everyday life, creating garments that are both beautiful and functional.

The designers, Nobuhiko Kohama and River Garam Jang, are graduates of Central Saint Martins’ BA Women’s Wear program. Kohama has honed his skills as an assistant designer at Christian Dior and Lanvin, while Jang gained experience at CELINE. Together, they founded RIV NOBUHIKO to challenge conventional luxury fashion and make couture accessible to all.

A distinctive aspect of the brand is its commitment to social responsibility. The brand focuses on individuals who have lost their social status due to life changes such as marriage, raising children, or retirement. By training these individuals and helping them reintegrate into society as artisans, The brand ensures that most of its clothing and accessories are crafted by these skilled artisans.
